What The Hell Is An Ellemeno?
Ellemeno was an idea I came up with decades ago, originally for a restaurant. My tagline was “An Eatery With A Taste For The Vernacular.” Something like that. Then it was supposed to be a used book store. Finally, it became a magazine. Now it’s a blog.
But why Ellemeno? It comes from the alphabet song, “A-B-C-D-E-F-G, H-I-J-K, L-M-N-O, P.” We run those four letters together as if they are one word. LMNO. Ellemeno.
That’s it.
